What’s the job?

The details your customer will see at the top of the report.

Using DoneSheet

Your first report

  1. Job details: add a job title, date and customer.
  2. Work done: write a summary and the work you completed.
  3. Photos: add an area, then choose before and after photos.
  4. Business: add your business name and optional logo.
  5. Review: check the preview, then choose Save PDF. Open the downloaded PDF before sending it.

Open the download

Unzip the download and open DoneSheet.html in Chrome. It is the only file in the download. You can rename or move it; the app and this help work offline.

Keep your draft

Choose Save draft before closing. Your editable file contains the notes and photo copies. To resume, choose File → Open a saved draft. There is no automatic cloud backup.

Where is my PDF?

The PDF downloads directly. Open Chrome Downloads or your computer’s Downloads folder. If Chrome asks where to save it, choose a folder and confirm. Saving the PDF leaves your report in place.

Photos

Use JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 12 MB per image. Convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPEG first. Each report supports six areas and 12 photos. Keep the original files separately.

See an example

Choose File → Load example report. The details are illustrative. Save your current draft before replacing it.

Pre-release test copy

Version 1.0.1. This update replaces browser printing with direct PDF downloads. Device verification and the commercial release are still pending.

Application licence
DoneSheet 1.0.1 - proposed licence for commercial release

Copyright 2026 James Connelly. All rights reserved.

This pre-release copy is for review and testing. Sales have not opened.

The proposed purchased licence allows one business to use the current
application version on up to three devices and to create any number of
customer reports within the application limits. The business may share
finished reports with its own customers and collaborators.

The application itself may not be redistributed, resold, sublicensed or
made publicly downloadable. Customer reports remain the responsibility
of the business that creates them. No independent inspection, identity
verification, customer signature or certification is provided.

No cloud storage, ongoing hosted service, lifetime updates or future
products are included. The seller's verified identity, contact information,
final purchase terms and refund arrangements must be provided through the
sales channel before purchase. Nothing in this licence limits applicable
statutory rights.
